About Centaurus Foundation

Founded in 2006, Centaurus Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare and rescue. For nearly two decades, we have been working to protect vulnerable animals, providing them with care, rehabilitation, and the opportunity for a better life.

Our mission focuses on rescuing horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, and other domestic and farm animals from neglect, abandonment, and unsafe conditions. Thanks to the support of more than one million donors worldwide, we have helped save thousands of animals and created one of Europe's largest horse sanctuaries.

At the heart of our work is the Animal Farm in Szczedrzykowice, Poland, a sanctuary that provides lifelong care for rescued animals. We also manage extensive natural reserve areas where animals can live in safe and healthy environments. Beyond rescue efforts, we support animal-assisted therapy programs, educational initiatives, adoption services, and collaborations with organizations that share our commitment to animal protection.

Centaurus Foundation is politically and religiously independent. Every donation and partnership directly supports our mission to improve animal welfare, promote compassion, and create lasting positive change for animals and communities alike.
